Shift: Rotating
Schedule: This is a per diem/optional part-time position. 12-hour shifts. Will pick-up shifts that become available within department. Must work minimum of 48 hours in 6-week schedule and some holidays.
Job Summary:

Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital is a 202-bed facility. The Emergency Department provides care for the whole family - infants, children, and adults - as a Level III Trauma Center. As an active participant in tissue procurement and facilitates organ donation, we are also closely involved with community disaster preparedness, working closely with first responders throughout Waukesha and Washington County.
Highlights
  • Menomonee Falls ED is a 23-bed trauma center
  • Nurse to patient ratio is typically 4:1
  • Approximately 75-100 patients are seen per day
  • Emergency Department Technicians also provide supportive care.
  • Nurses are ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS and PALS certified
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A minimum of 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Paramedic Certification in good standing in the state of Wisconsin.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
  • Paramedic Certification in good standing in the state of Wisconsin is required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within 1 year of hire.
