Regional Support Engineer Site Lead

PVM is actively seeking a Regional Support Engineer Site Lead located in Fort Liberty, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee and manage technical support operations within a designated region. This role involves providing advanced technical assistance, leading a team of support engineers, ensuring optimal performance of IT systems, and coordinating with other departments to implement and maintain technology solutions. The RSL acts as a contact hub for all site leads in their region, facilitating communication across all domains back to the program manager and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Additionally, this role requires in-depth knowledge of the Unified Command structure, joint doctrine, and joint policies, particularly in the context of Special Operations mission planning.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of regional support engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily support operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for the support team.
  • Provide high-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, escalating issues as necessary to other IT departments or vendors.
  • Ensure all incidents and service requests are logged, tracked, and resolved in the company's ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
  • Manage and execute regional IT projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all project activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regional clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review support performance and address any concerns or feedback.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for end-users.
  • Provide engineering and technical administration, embedded data services, and analytical support for workflow development and data source integration.
  • Offer mentorship and expert utilization of multiple software capabilities to solve information challenges, including those that are mission critical.
  • Deliver support across the SOF Information Environment (SIE), including Tactical Local Area Networks and other DoD military hardware and End User Devices.


Requirements:

  • ACTIVE TS clearance with SCI eligibility required
  • 5+yrs experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of the Unified Command structure, joint doctrine, and joint policies.
  • Detailed working knowledge of processes and procedures for using automated tools to plan, support, and execute Special Operations roles for mission planning.
  • Ability to develop processes and techniques which enhance the mission planning environment and reduces the workload for other mission planning support Contractors.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.


Tools:

  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting and support.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware) is a plus.
