Regional Sales Manager 

Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their rapidly growing company in the Oil & Gas field. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales and operational goals in a specific geographic territory. Other key responsibilities include identifying and targeting Pipe, Valve, and Fittings (PVF) new customers, implementing vertical market strategies, and making decisions to manage profitability. 
Key Results Area 

Sales and Leadership 

  • Responsible for supporting the team's ability to constantly nurture existing assigned clients and looking to bring on new, qualified clients to promote maximized sales 

  • Responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing team sales strategy  

  • Lead the sales team's execution of all sales goals, gather requirements, participates in the quoting process  

  • Lead sales team process improvement initiatives and provide both subject matter expertise and thought leadership to ensure standardization, efficiencies, and best practices are utilized 

  • Work closely with the team to increase sales opportunities, effectively lead weekly/quarterly sales meetings to resolve issues 

  • Respond to customers' inquiries and promote the company's products when needed 

  • Gives guidance to sales representatives to track and report sales activities, understand and identify customer needs, and timely liaise with internal relevant departments till orders generated 

Client Relationship Management  

  • Consistently communicates with clients to ensure client satisfaction, that our services are top of mind with our clientele, and that we are achieving “vendor of choice” status  

  • Develops and executes a strategy to maximize results with clients that includes forecasting and analysis 

  • Researches to become a subject matter expert in the areas relevant to our clientele   

  • Collaborate on inventory needs; Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, ensuring that the company remains competitive  

  • Effectively communicates client requests (product, financial, design, etc.) to the appropriate person/department  

  • Attend and actively participate (using the information learned effectively) in industry meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments  

  • Conducts sessions/events with clients including, but not limited to, Product Knowledge training, public relations events and consumer-facing activities  

 
Skills & Qualifications 

  • BA or BS degree preferred 

  • Three (3) or more years of successful sales experience as a sales manager with a proven winning track record for developing new businesses and expanding the business base  

  • Data-Driven Results to support the development of the sales team 

  • Proficient in relationship building through clients including C-level executives 

  • Strong analytical skills – ability to assess, design, and sell a given solution 

  • Must have experience working in the Pipe, Valve, and Fittings section of the Oil & Gas industry 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Strong customer service and rapport-building abilities/ Low Ego+ High Impact Results 

  • Great interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation capabilities  

  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement  

  • Ability to work effectively and driver of sales in a team-oriented environment  

  • Willingness to take risks and try innovative, new approaches  

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record 

  • Strong general business acumen and maturity 

  • 50% travel
