Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hire, train and coach staff assigned in region and inspire them to be the best version of themselves
  • Plan, develop, schedule, and/or provide in-service training and evaluation of childcare staff
  • Compliance for federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and licensing requirements
  • Monitor and account for accuracy of yearly budgets for your region
  • Establish routines and provide positive guidance
  • Document and maintain all Intervention Paperwork and process
  • Oversee Facility Management
  • Maintains confidential student, parent and/or school information per company policies
  • Performs all such related and non-related duties as may by assigned by the COO

REPORTS TO : Chief Operating Officer

Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Arts or Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Experienced Multi-Unit Operator in Early Childcare Education
  • Experience with DCF and DOE compliance and licensing
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Prior leadership experience required; Regional Director Experience preferred.
  • Some level of business/general management experience (leading people and teams), multi-site preferred.
  • New School Opening experience preferred
  • ECE Experience (Montessori preferred), ability to be a coach/mentor in an education/ECE environment
  • Completion of NAMC Certification will be required within two years of hire
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain working relationships with all levels of staff, management, vendors and parents
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility, embrace change
  • Computer literacy in Office Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based applications, and proficient in the use of office equipment
  • Ability to promote the school to new families and increase enrollment.


Working and Physical Demands:

  • Office based, requires full range of body motion including bending, sitting, and standing through the required hour workday
  • Requires flexibility in response to school needs. Must be regularly available and willing to work at least required hours per day.
  • Perform duties on site unless otherwise indicated and approved.
