PA/NP - Primary Care Walk-In Clinic - Casual

Experienced Physician Assistant or FAMILY Nurse Practitioner is needed to work per diem/as needed in our busy family practice and walk-in clinics caring for patients across the generational spectrum. Experience is required (1-3 years) and candidate must be able to care for patients of all ages (No Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioners) . Practices are located in our SE Service Area - Caledonia, Ionia, Lake Odessa, Hastings, Gun Lake, Middleville. Team-based care is supplemented with, medical assistants working one-to-one with the physicians. Large practice population with onsite, laboratory and radiology services.

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner:

* Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master's, post-master's or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission

* 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience

* Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner

* LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan

* CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)

* CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

* CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)

Physician Assistant:

* Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program

* LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan

* CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

* CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)

* CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)

* CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Qualifications

* Required - Bachelor's Degree

* BE/BC Family/Internal Medicine

* LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

* LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

* CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

* CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or

* CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required

* CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
