RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and services to our patients and referring specialists.
This is a full-time day position at our center, where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Procedures and Care (85%):
- Assist physicians with routine and advanced interventional/vascular procedures, including scrubbing and circulating.
- Support patient clinic visits and explain procedures to patients.
- Prepare patients for procedures and adjust equipment as necessary.
- Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
- Maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures and complete room turnaround within infection control guidelines.
- Imaging Support (10%):
- Monitor medical supply inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Assist with training of new associates and provide technical expertise.
- Other Duties (5%):
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
