The position work schedule is 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. </strong> <br> <br> <b> Responsibilities </b> <br> <br>Conformity may include the following:<br> <br> <ul> <li>Proper Identity</li> <li>Correct quantity and operations performed</li> <li>Visual appearance</li> <li>Functionality of assembled product</li> <li>Dimensional characteristics using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.</li> <li>Audits in-process product checks performed by production personnel</li> <li>Assists with initiating containment activities and documenting results of product containment actions.</li> <li>Verifies rejected material from production, completes reject documentation, and disposes of rejected materials.</li> <li>Performs process audits when process changes have been implemented.</li> <li>Understand and observe safety rules and safe work practices for the workplace.</li> <li>Communicate and cooperate with other associates to resolve quality issues.</li> <li>Supports the facility 6S initiatives.</li> <li>Performs other duties as maybe assigned. </li></ul> <br> <b> Qualifications </b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Attention to detail.</li> <li>Basic GD&T knowledge</li> <li>Ability to read, write, and interpret standard operating procedures, quality reports, and other written instructions as needed.</li> <li>Ability to use lab equipment, i.e. hardness tester, CMM, optical comparator, and abrasive saw.</li> <li>Basis analysis and troubleshooting skills</li> <li>Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.</li> <li>Experience using and interpreting measurement devices including calipers, micrometers, gauges, hardness tester, and surface finish tester.</li> <li>Teamwork skills</li> <li>Experience as a CNC or manual machinist.</li> <li>All candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older and must have at a minimum of a High School Diploma and possess excellent use of the English language including reading, writing, and speaking.</li></ul> <strong>Physical Requirements</strong>: <br> <br> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously for eight hours. Anything lifted above 35 pounds MUST have the assistance of another associate.</li> <li>MUST be able to stand for long periods of time during an eight-hour work shift.</li></ul> <strong>Accountabilities:</strong> <br> <br>Accountable for auditing components, work-in-process, and finished goods at the Elkmont Manufacturing facility.<img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjIxMTEwLjEyNTI0QHNuYXBvbmNvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif">
