Description:
This position is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the QC and Regulatory systems, including:
· Performing routine quality control functions which require application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
· Reporting and correlating data, recognizing discrepancies in results and following operations through a series of related, detailed steps or processes.
· Amending and keeping accurate quality and regulatory documentation records.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Review and approve product carton renderings, codes, descriptions, and labels.
· Create and update product labeling.
· Update and maintain work instructions files.
· Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) Database.
· Coordinate finished goods rubber testing.
· Preserve Quality Control Site Data Integrity, including reviewing and resolving discrepancy reports.
· Organize and maintain all product testing files.
· Ensure Declaration of Conformity (DOC) compliance with CE/UKCA regulations of product and retain records.
· Gather Certificate of Analysis (COA) reports from vendors and maintain up to date records.
· Assist with new product reviews.
· Audit incoming finished goods and compare to set quality data.
· Investigate known or reported quality issues and report discrepancies to Quality Control and Regulatory Manager.
· Support packaging department and warehouses in Quality areas.
· Conduct product inspections and testing.
· Recommend, create, or revise quality policies and procedures.
· Educate team members in Quality standards.
· Support company safety initiatives.
· Other tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
· High school diploma and/or bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years applicable quality experience (preferably in a warehouse or
manufacturing environment) or a combination of education and/or experience.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) required.
· Detail-oriented and resourceful.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems and to research and seek out information when discrepancies occur.
· Experience in using inventory systems, product label creation software, and Wrike a plus.
· Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
