<b>Location: </b> Aiken, SC<br> <b>Salary: </b> $90,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually<br> <b>Description: </b> <br>We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (QE) to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of Quality Control, Assurance, and reliability across their products and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), experience working in an ISO9001 environment (or similar quality system) and ASQ certification highly preferred. <br> <br> <b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> <ul> <li> <b>Process Improvement:</b></li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Assess production process issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Provide training to colleagues on quality standards, processes and procedures.</li> <li>Utilize FMEA techniques to develop and improve processes. Acquire, validate, examine, and present essential measurement data for assessing adherence to specifications and validating process capability.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li> <b>Quality Programs:</b></li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Create and enforce KPIs to identify areas of improvement.</li> <li>Supervise product testing to ensure procedural accuracy.</li> <li>Assist in the development and implementation of quality programs to meet production standards and exceed customer requirements.</li> <li>Perform internal quality audits to assess compliance within the QMS and help assist in external audits.</li> <li>Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li> <b>Collaboration and Relationship Building:</b></li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Build strong working relationships with customers and peers.</li> <li>Work with cross-functional teams on root cause investigations for both internal and external opportunities.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li> <b>System Compliance and Execution:</b></li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Ensure complete execution of the Quality Management System (QMS).</li> <li>Collaborate with teams to develop and implement best practice standardization.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li> <b>Recommendations and Training:</b></li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Recommend improvements to procedures and processes, contributing to the creation of quality practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li> <li>Ensure test methods are current and provide training to employees on proper testing procedures, root cause investigation tools, and processes.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li> <b>Supplier Collaboration and Customer Feedback:</b></li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Support sites in working with suppliers for raw material and certification compliance.</li> <li>Analyze issues reported via customer feedback to ensure products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.</li></ul></ul> <b>Qualifications: </b> <br> <ul> <ul> <li>Bachelor&apos;s degree in Engineering or Applied Science discipline </li> <li>2-5 years' experience in the Quality Engineering/Assurance field </li> <li>Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) (PREFERRED) </li> <li>Experience in ISO9001 environment preferred or knowledge of ISO9001.
