Quality Assurance Management<br><br>Full-time, Hybrid<br><br>Location: Okemos, Michigan <br><br>Pay: $130,000 - $140,000/YR <br><br>Job Summary<br><br>Responsible for delivering test automation platforms, toolchains, and processes for software systems and infrastructure in production. Guides the team in implementing highly automated testing and software delivery solutions.<br><br>Primary Job Responsibilities:<br><ul><li>Manages and coordinates team assignments, schedules, budgets, and services.</li><li>Oversees the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of platforms and services for testing and automated software delivery.</li><li>Ensures adherence to corporate, departmental, and team standards, implementing improvements to enhance team performance.</li><li>Provides strategic and operational direction for test automation in application, system, and performance testing.</li><li>Collaborates with agile leaders to integrate quality and automation principles into all planned work.</li><li>Participates in incident remediation to identify testing opportunities and strategies for system quality improvement.</li><li>Develops talent by applying consistent performance standards and addressing performance issues decisively and objectively.</li><li>Seeks input from others, listens effectively, and uses diplomacy and tact to build relationships and gain trust and support.</li><li>Leads and mentors team members to support maintenance and production activities as needed by the business unit.</li><li>Implements a roadmap for test automation and quality controls to adapt to changing application and platform designs, including microservices and public cloud migration.</li><li>Manages the budget and vendor relationships for tools and services.</li></ul><br>Requirements: <br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.</li><li>Seven years of IT experience, including quality engineering, testing, or similar roles.</li><li>At least three years of team leadership experience.</li><li>Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience are acceptable.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of software testing, development, and delivery methodologies.</li><li>Experience writing, managing, and maintaining test automation suites for single-page applications and high-performance batch applications.</li><li>Experience implementing testing tools and automation practices using tools like: Selenium, Postman, JMeter, DocBridge Delta, etc</li><li>Proficiency with technologies such as: Java, JavaScript, SQL</li><li>Experience managing engineering teams of five or more staff.</li><li>Ability to lead and mentor staff.</li><li>Capability to analyze and resolve complex problems.</li><li>Skills in planning work and required staffing levels.</li><li>Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.</li></ul>
