Description
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team at Medical City Ambulatory Surgery Center in Dallas, Texas. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide safe and effective patient care in the operating room. Your responsibilities will include assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining surgical asepsis, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate necessary skills required for the role of the surgical technologist
- Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery
- Maintain surgical asepsis during procedures
- Assist in turnover of operating room suites between cases
- Prepare procedure room for use the following day
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist
- One year of experience in an operating room setting
- Valid BCLS Certification
