Private Equity Associate

Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in investment banking with a focus on the healthcare industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior team members and gain exposure to all aspects of the investment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Perform industry and market research to identify trends and assess the competitive landscape.
• Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing financial statements, conducting site visits, and coordinating with external advisors.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage portfolio company performance, including financial reporting and strategic planning.
• Support senior team members in deal structuring, negotiation, and execution.
• Participate in the development and implementation of value creation strategies for portfolio companies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on the healthcare industry.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
