What You'll Do as a Maintenance Supervisor:
  • Develop and monitor a systematic preventive maintenance program for an apartment community.
  • Schedule and coordinate apartment turns with staff and vendors.
  • Assist in writing or obtaining specifications and scopes of work for all large or capital expense projects.
  • Schedule and oversee the daily work to maintain pools, grounds, service requests, make-readies, move-ins, and projects.
  • Respond to maintenance service requests, troubleshoot problems, and make repairs.
  • Additional responsibilities as defined by the job description.

A Maintenance Supervisor is Proficient in:

Requirements

Licenses and Certifications Required of a Maintenance Supervisor:
  • A valid driver's license.
  • EPA 608 license is required- Type I and Type II, before being hired.
  • A current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is preferred and required within 30 days of hire.

Experience:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
