Project Manager w/IT Implementation (Utility Domain)

<strong>TITLE</strong>: Sr. IT Project Manager<br><br><strong>LOCATION</strong>: Westwood MA<br><br><strong>DURATION</strong>: 6 months Contract<br><br><strong>MANAGER NOTES/KEYS SKILLS NEEDED</strong><br><ul><li>Need a strong project manager to successfully drive projects to completion.</li><li>Must be comfortable with full project authority, managing 3rd-party resources, and communicating status to various levels within the organization.</li><li>Solid presentation skills are a must.</li><li>Candidate is expected to possess the skills necessary to come in and hit the ground running.</li><li>Team interaction will be very high.</li><li>May be required to Westwood or Berlin locations, depending on project need</li></ul><br><strong>DESCRIPTION</strong><br><ul><li>The IT Senior Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and success of Information Technology and related Business projects.</li><li>Will <strong>Project Manage the budgetary, scheduling and delivery</strong> of assigned initiatives in compliance with the standards and procedures of the PMO/Next Generation Delivery Organization.</li><li>The PMs primary <strong>focus is leading team-level execution, forming and building a team, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement.</strong> They are responsible for <strong>managing all aspects of team delivery including schedule, scope, risks, dependencies, and issues.</strong></li><li>Facilitate the development of delivery plans and drive the plan through all phases of an execution lifecycle, or via a <strong>CI/CD process, through an assets in-service deployment to production and transition to IT Operations. </strong></li><li>Prepare plans and budgets to assure predictable delivery against organizational expectations. They develop and report project and team status to stakeholders and the appropriate governance committees. Maintain forecasts and utilize metrics to drive the achievement of desired results.</li><li><strong>Utilize Agile delivery methodologies and practices such as Scrum, Kanban,</strong> providing leadership for the successful delivery of projects.</li></ul><br><strong>Education & Experience Required: </strong><br><ul><li><strong>Minimum </strong>8 years of relevant experience</li><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent</li></ul><br><strong>Technical Skills </strong><br><ul><li>MS Project Online, Microsoft Suite, O365, strong project financial skills (budgeting / forecasting / tracking spend), solid presentation skills</li></ul>
