As a Project Engineer at Intelice Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and delivery of IT projects for our clients. You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and technical teams to design, deploy, and manage IT solutions that meet the unique needs and objectives of each project. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Important note about this role: This is a Hybrid position. Person who obtains this role will be required to physically be in our Frederick, MD office 3 times a week. A project engineer is critical to our success due to their pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical execution and project management. This role will ensure that client projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, which is essential for maintaining client satisfaction and trust. We expect this resource to bring technical expertise that allows them to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex IT solutions, ensuring that our services are robust and reliable. Additionally, they will coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to streamline communication and ensure that all project requirements are met. The ability to manage technical details while keeping an eye on the overall project goals makes this person indispensable for delivering high-quality IT services and driving the company's success. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines. * Design comprehensive IT solutions based on client needs, industry best practices, and technical feasibility. * Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables. * Execute project plans by configuring, installing, and testing IT infrastructure and systems. * Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless deployment and integration of technology solutions. * Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve challenges encountered during implementation. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. * Serve as a subject matter expert on various IT solutions, including networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and hardware/software systems. * Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams. * Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication, responsiveness, and professionalism. * Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering recommendations and insights to optimize their IT infrastructure and operations. * Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner. * Create and maintain accurate documentation of project specifications, configurations, and procedures. * Generate regular reports on project progress, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the initial plan. * Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards and compliance requirements. * Provide support for current or recently implemented projects that may require T3 escalation. * Assist solution engineer / sales team with technical expertise and level of effort in order to draft solution proposals. * Provide coverage for Project Ops Manager when on PTO or unavailable as needed. * Research new products and alternative solutions that can enhance our product line and solution stack for Intelice. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. * Proven experience in project engineering or similar roles, preferably in a managed service provider environment. * Proficiency in networking concepts, system administration, virtualization, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., MS 365, Azure). * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. * Project management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are a plus. * Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA/MCSE are desirable.
