Great pay and benefits! PALS Home Health provides in-home private-duty nursing care for children up to age 21. Our Registered nurses (RN) and Licensed vocational nurses (LVN) provide quality nursing care to our clients. These children are medically and technologically dependent. Most have many other special medical conditions that require meticulous attention from skilled nurses. We pride ourselves on consistently demonstrating our core values: Communication, Quality Care, Transparency, and Commitment. So, what is pediatric home health? ? Pediatric home health is one-to-one personalized nursing care in the patient's home. You will have the ability to watch a child grow, develop, and get better while providing care for the patient and relief for the patient's family. Our special patients have a medical diagnosis that requires a skilled need, which is ordered by a physician and can consist of tracheostomy care, ventilator care, feeding tubes, respiratory treatments, or many other special medical needs. Pediatric home health nursing can help establish a therapeutic and ongoing relationship with the patient and their family. PALS provides paid orientation training to get you acclimated to the patient's environment and acuity level. We also provide ongoing training to help you broaden your general nursing skills or to help you reach your nursing knowledge and ability goals. Responsibilities Provides exceptional nursing services as prescribed by a licensed physician Complete accurate and timely documentation Maintains medical supplies and equipment as needed Available to parents for health-related questions and/or concerns Maintains consistent and punctual attendance Knowledge and Skills Current, unrestricted nursing license approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing 1 year of relevant experience preferred but not required. PALS Home Health is implementing a new Nursing Residency Program to enable new graduate nurses and those with less than 2 years of relevant experience to perform to their highest ability while taking exceptional care of their patient(s). Our goal is to provide the best pediatric care possible to improve the lives of our patients and their families.
