Production Technician (Sanitation)

Perricone Farms, a premium citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, Florida is looking to hire a Production Technician (Sanitation) to join our team!

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour + $500 SIGN ON BONUS!

• 5-6 Days per Week, Monday through Saturday (7:00 pm to 3:30 am)
• Some holiday work may be required based on the production schedule

Production Technicians (Sanitation) are responsible for:

• Sanitizing equipment and surrounding areas at the end of the production run. This includes conveyors and all machinery.
• Pressure washing various pieces of equipment.
• Walking the facility grounds daily and picking up any trash and/or debris and properly disposing of items.
• Emptying trash and garbage containers as needed.
• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing and washing surfaces such as the warehouse and refrigeration equipment.
• Performs minor repairs such as patching holes and routine painting, cleaning and other related maintenance activities throughout the plant.
• Assist in packaging as needed to include packing and stacking product.

Production Technician (Sanitation) requirements:

• Work safely around production equipment and in a manufacturing setting
• Arrives on or before scheduled start time to properly review duties for the day
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write and speak English, plus perform basic math
• Follow both written and oral instructions
• Works well independently and with a team
• Able to withstand cold and non-climate-controlled environment
• Flexibility to work different job functions and overtime
• Able to stand for long hours at a time, physically able to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs
• Successfully pass pre-employment screenings including a drug screen
