Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for directing daily, weekly, and monthly activities to meet and exceed production goals as outlined by the leadership team. This includes but is not limited to exceeding and enforcing safety initiatives, quality initiatives, cost savings targets, as well as implementing initiatives that improve employee morale.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

· Educate and enforce employees on the codes of conduct as outlined in our company policy handbook.

· Accurately capture daily production activities as required by the Operations Manager and leadership team.

· Effectively communicate with the hourly employees, in addition to, the managers that are assigned by the leadership team.

· Assist in development and optimization of the manufacturing processes.

· Take personal responsibility for personal growth including acquiring new skills, knowledge, and information.

· Ability to lead personnel and hold others accountable while maintaining professionalism.

· Ability to learn, understand and teach the extrusion and converting processes in your plant.

· Provide excellent customer services skills, including consistently displaying awareness and sensitivity to the needs of internal and/or external clients. Proactively ensuring that these needs are met or exceeded.

· And any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

· HS education with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing atmosphere or possess a 2- or 4-year degree in related field minimum.

· Ability to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and to manage one’s own time and the time of others.

· Ability to work effectively and independently on plant operations and projects as a member or leader of a team.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

This position reports to the Operations Manager.
