Weekly Pay Range - $1248 To $1386

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant Job Specialty: Nursing CNA Job Duration: 13-week assignment Shift: 7 AM to 3 PM, 5 days a week; weekend requirement: every other weekend; holiday requirement: 4 of 6 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: At least 2 to 3 years in long-term care (LTC) License: Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student enrolled in a BSN program with completed fundamentals of nursing Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association Must-Have: Experience in LTC Job Description: - Provide direct hygiene and comfort care to patients, including bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, incontinent care, and bed making.- Take vital signs under the direction of the RN, document results, and notify the RN.- Perform and document glucose finger sticks, and collect other specimens such as stool, urine, and sputum.- Obtain and document daily patient weights and monitor patient intake and output.- Ensure a safe patient environment by promptly answering call lights and communicating any change in the patient's condition to the RN.- Act as a patient sitter when needed.- Maintain a clean and safe nursing unit and patient room.- Identify patient needs and modify and deliver care specific to those needs (e.g., age, culture, sensory impairments).- Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and caregivers at their level of understanding.- Engage in regular contact with medical personnel, patients, and visitors.- Float as needed during the assignment.This position seeks qualified candidates who are committed to providing excellent patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
