Job Title: Product Specialist Job Description Support customers and sales channels with product advice, selection, application, and set-up Liaison for engineering support on smaller customer projects and technical inquiries Support new products during the development phase Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers Establish and cultivate a working knowledge of products and their applications Prepare and present quotes, provide technical support post-sale, and maintain strong business relationships will be key to your success Advise customer, distributors, and sales agents on product selection and application Serve as a technical resource post-sale and assist with product investigations Maintain relationships with established customers and support new business development Train sales agents and distributors on product applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business opportunities and develop product growth strategies Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or two-year degree and related experience, or equivalent experience Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Teams, Word) Proficient in using business systems to achieve results and improve processes Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and know when to refer issues to others About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
