The Eden Plant is a very well-established operation in Wisconsin with long term commitments for community and environmental stewardship.<br> <br>The Product Handler will assist both the Assistant Operator and Kiln Operator, loading pebble lime railcars and customer trucks. Additionally, the position will be responsible for cleanliness of assigned areas.<br> <br> <b>The Role:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices.</li> <li>Loading product in both railcars and into customer trucks</li> <li>Effectively communicate and cooperate with truck drivers.</li> <li>Must possess the ability to detect and respond to safety hazards and equipment malfunctions in accordance with safety rules and standards.</li> <li>Ability to lift, carry, push, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.</li> <li>Assist in various manual labor tasks around the plant as needed such as housekeeping, greasing, and minor maintenance, etc.</li> <li>Assist maintenance personnel as required.</li> <li>Work in various environments, including weather variations and exposure to fine lime/limestone dust (personal protective equipment is supplied by Graymont)</li> <li>Ability and willingness to be cross trained in other job functions.</li> <li>Able to access and work in ALL areas of plant which include heights up to 125' above ground level.</li> <li>Position includes a lot of walking, climbing ladders and stairs.</li></ul> <b>Qualifications:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Current Driver's License is a strong asset.</li> <li>Over 18 years of age</li> <li>High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Desired</li> <li>Physically fit and ability to work shifts.</li> <li>Self-motivated, goal oriented, and excellent communication skills</li> <li>Be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot/problem solve.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.</li> <li>Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.</li> <li>Possess good math skills including four basic arithmetic functions and common units of measurement.</li> <li>Possess computer skills sufficient to work with JDE, Winlims, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access, and the ability to learn and understand PLC's (programmable logic controllers)</li> <li>Must possess the ability to read and write the English language to effectively interpret manuals, regulations, reports; must have the ability to complete various types of paperwork.</li> <li>Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.</li></ul> <b>Benefits:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Graymont offers competitive wages, excellent benefit package and pension plan, along with opportunities for advancement.</li></ul> <br> <link><img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjE1Nzg0LjEyNTI0QGdyYXltb250Y29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif">
