Galerie is looking for a team-oriented individual with a passion for excellence. The Product Developer is responsible for leading the organization in research for new products, enhancements, and redesigns within a specific product category. Additionally, this position will be responsible for:<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Be the champion for a product category. Own the development process, using research, trends, and sales history to build a seasonal product line that helps Galerie build customer relationships and increase sales.</li><li>Track and execute product changes. Monitoring that the changes meet established customer needs and margin requirements. Ensure sufficient representation of Core, Chase and Risk within the assortment in all categories and price point.</li><li>Track product development process and organization of product samples and data insights to justify product development. Continuously monitor sales trends and category performance to identify improvements and efficiencies.</li><li>Execute reporting processes and procedures in an effort to inform management of the current status of each project</li><li>Support identifying and onboarding new suppliers and maintaining strong partnerships with existing ones. Work in collaboration with Procurement, Quality Assurance and Operations. Ensure and support adherence to company safety and quality guidelines and processes</li><li>Monitor the category product assortment to ensure effectiveness and appropriate mix to support sales goals.</li><li>Working knowledge of competitive products and players.</li><li>A relentless passion for excellence</li></ul><br>Requirements:<br><br><ul><li>1-3 years of relevant work experience in Product Development, Product Merchant, Procurement or Operations is preferred</li><li>Prior experience in Chocolate Food Packaging a HUGE plus</li><li>Process driven</li><li>Strong Excel skills; Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing, Access, Crystal Reports, Workamajig (or other reporting systems), are not required but preferred</li><li>Strong account management and communication skills a must </li><li>Willing to toggle between multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>High energy level in the office</li></ul><br>This role is onsite in Hebron Kentucky
