Produce Inspector

Role

As a Produce Inspector (also known as Quality Control Inspector, Produce Quality Specialist), you'll perform daily inspections of incoming deliveries and existing inventories, ensuring all produce meets quality specifications. You'll make crucial decisions to accept or reject produce based on established processes, driving customer satisfaction and minimizing returns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in produce or other perishable receiving and inspection.
• Working knowledge of USDA Specs, Grades and Standards, and PACA laws.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant applications/hardware.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and sit/stand for long periods of time.
• Team-player – flexible and willing to learn new things and adapt as the business evolves.
