Cost of Moving + $5k sign-on bonus. <br> <br> <b>Overview</b>:<br> <br>We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to contribute to our Continuous Improvement and Productivity initiatives. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering world-class products and services to our diverse customer base, including leading medical device manufacturers. The Process Engineer will troubleshoot materials, processes, and tooling-related production issues to enhance and optimize the injection molding and extrusion process. Responsibilities include creating, developing, and implementing process improvements.<br> <br> <b>Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>Collaborate with Production Managers to address ongoing production issues.<br> <br>Assist in the transition of new process developments and equipment installations, including training of personnel.<br> <br>Lead process optimization and continuous improvement activities.<br> <br>Establish and maintain best practice operating procedures.<br> <br>Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure safe operation of injection molding and extrusion equipment.<br> <br>Work with design engineering staff to improve equipment performance and reliability.<br> <br>Provide technical support in production areas of responsibility.<br> <br>Reduce costs of existing processes to optimize yield/efficiency performance.<br> <br>Assist in the development, review, and update of best practices.<br> <br>Lead/participate in root cause investigation and implementation of preventive actions for customer complaints.<br> <br> <b>Qualifications Preferred:</b> <br> <br>Prior experience in polymer extrusion, preferably in plastics or medical device processes.<br> <br>Bachelor&apos;s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Polymers, Engineering or related field.<br> <br>Experience with Lean Manufacturing Systems or Lean Certification preferred.<br> <br>Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.<br> <br>Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.<br> <br>Proficiency in project management, continuous improvement methodologies, and team collaboration.<br> <br>Six sigma certification preferred.<br> <br> <ul> </ul> <b>Contact:</b> sfaux@judge.com<br> <br>This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
