RAYUS Radiology, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a critical first step in diagnosis and treatment, we shine a light on radiology and strive to deliver exceptional patient care.
As an MRI Technologist, you will operate our state-of-the-art scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the exam process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Screen patients before exams to ensure their safety and identify any potential contraindications
- Explain MRI procedures to patients, answer their questions, and provide emotional support throughout the exam
- Position patients correctly for optimal image quality and patient comfort
- Imaging Procedures:
- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision
- Adjust scan parameters as needed to ensure high-quality images
- Maintain accurate patient records within our Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Department Support:
- Assist with maintaining updated imaging protocols and software upgrades
- Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
- Provide training and technical expertise to new associates
Requirements:
- Strong patient care skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety protocols
