Care Synergy has an immediate opening for a Payroll Specialist. Full cycle experience required.
Location : Denver, CO
Status: Full-time
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8-5
Pay Range: $26.02 - $32.40 per hour
Supplemental Pay: Based on position, schedule and/or availability: Overtime
Mileage and Expense Reimbursement: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile – one of the highest in the industry!

REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:
Assists with timely and accurate pay of approximately 1000 employees. Active processing of employee pay for each pay period. Oversees payroll filings and reports by third party payroll provider. Maintains payroll records. Mandatory overtime (late evenings/weekends) for required business needs.
  • Reviews electronic time sheets for upload to payroll processing including checking for inclusion, manager approval and final lockdown.
  • Prepares for payroll processing by entering HR/Payroll information into the system (garnishments, benefit adjustments, deductions, verifies new-hire information is entered correctly, etc.)
  • Assists in the production and issuance of manual paychecks and/or off cycle electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Investigates any payroll discrepancies and processes any manual payments on an as-needed basis.
  • Assists with updates to payroll policies and procedures.
  • Participates in continuing education and professional development, organization and community events, and professional associations as required.
  • Provides payroll and time keeping assistance to managers and staff; timely responds to payroll questions and/or concerns guaranteeing business needs are timely met.
  • Trains and coaches employees on how to use the payroll and timekeeping system on an as needed basis.
  • Timely submission of 403(b) deferrals to the third party administrator.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience:
  • Two years of payroll experience
  • Full cycle payroll processing from start to finish
  • Intermediate Excel skills required (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP experience required)
  • UKG/UltiPro experience preferred
Required License:
  • FPC or CPP preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
