Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team. In this critical leadership role, you will take ownership of our complex network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability for all users. You will play a key role in shaping our network strategy, driving automation initiatives, and implementing innovative solutions to support our evolving business needs. Leveraging your expertise in Cisco technologies, F5 load balancing, and cloud connectivity, you will drive a team of network engineers and collaborate with other IT departments to ensure seamless network operations and alignment with business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

Head the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of our enterprise network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, data centers, and cloud connections. Provide strategic direction for network architecture and technology roadmap, aligning it with business goals and industry best practices. Champion and implement network automation solutions using tools like Cisco DNA Center, Python, and Ansible, driving efficiency and reducing manual processes. Configure and manage large-scale deployments of Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless) with NX-OS and IOS-XE. Design and implement secure and reliable cloud connectivity solutions, utilizing technologies like VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud provider APIs. Manage and optimize F5 LTM appliances for enterprise-grade load balancing and application delivery. Oversee network patching processes, ensuring timely and secure deployment of updates across the network infrastructure. Mentor and head a team of Network Engineers, fostering their professional development and technical expertise. Collaborate with IT stakeholders across different departments to translate business needs into technical solutions. Monitor network performance, proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain uptime and availability. Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies, trends, and security best practices, continuously optimizing the network environment. Participate in industry events and conferences, sharing knowledge and building relationships with technology vendors. Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with at least 4 years in a senior role. Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a team of network engineers. In-depth expertise in Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XE configuration and troubleshooting. Advanced experience with F5 LTM administration and load balancing strategies. Exceptional understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud provider APIs. Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages like Python and Ansible. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and security best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent with a focus on Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XE. F5 certifications like BIG-IP Certified Expert (ACE) or BIG-IP Certified Architect (BCA). Experience in a specific industry relevant to our company. Certifications related to network security and patching, such as Security+ or CISSP. Certifications related to cloud technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
