Position Title:Postdoc - Veterinary Diagnostic Pathology Appointment Type:Post Doc/Trainee Job Description:Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The Veterinary Diagnostic Pathology Postdoc responsibilities include receiving advanced pathology training and becoming proficient in coordinating diagnostic case submissions in the Pathology Section of the Iowa State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. After appropriate training and demonstrated proficiency, responsibilities include case coordination and communication of diagnostic test results with clients. Candidates will be expected to have open discussions regarding testing options with clients. Clinically-focused training of veterinary students in diagnostic medicine with emphasis on related implications to clinical practice is expected. The incumbent with present relevant case material, data summaries, and research findings at professional and stakeholder meetings.
