Role

As a Product Development Engineer (also known as Packaging Engineer, Chemical Engineer), you'll lead design, develop, test, and execute products in growth programs. You'll also control and analyze experiments to evaluate changes to current products and ensure results are documented and published. You'll lead/support product commercialization projects, project justification, and launch process for assigned product lines. This role may also involve providing guidance and assistance to the Quality Department staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' work experience (excluding internships).
  • 2 - 4 years technical service, process control, quality engineering, product development or other related technical and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in chemical or packaging engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of adhesives, barrier properties/technology of materials and lamination processes.
  • CAD or SolidWorks experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
  • Experience with FDA requirements and ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
