Responsibilities

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Certifications:
    • Certified Pool and Spa Operator
    • Valid Driver’s License
  • Pool Maintenance and Pool Chemicals
  • General Handyman Functions
    • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Maintenance Checks and Repairs
    • Handle daily work orders as assigned
    • Janitorial
    • Maintain and Store Chemicals as per Regulatory Requirements
    • Grounds Keeping
    • Minor Repair of Equipment
    • Pressure Washing
    • Minor Pest and Weed Control
    • Perform minor replacement or repair duties in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, painting, drywall, flooring and other building repairs that do not require a permit.
    • Possible Heavy Lifting/Bending/Squatting/Walking
    • Ability to climb stairs, work in various positions including but not limited to standing, stooping, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time
    • Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as wind, rain, heat, cold, humidity, etc.
  • General Construction/Demo
  • General Hand Tool Operation
  • Meet and Coordinate with Vendors  
  • Administrative Functions
    • Review and Complete Work orders
    • Operate App for Daily Time Recording
    • Obtain/Order/Restock Supplies
    • Communicate Needs and Concerns to the CAM
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Serve as an ambassador of corporate culture and growth by leading by example. 
    • Read and comply with the Real Manage and Keystone Property Management Group’s Employee Handbooks.
    • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as directed by Management.
    • Perform and or participate in any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties/tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
    • Experience with Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Plumbing and Painting required.
    • Experience with Cleaning, Locks and Gutters highly desired.
    • Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual a plus.
    • Must be a proficient problem-solver. 
    • Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general. 
    • Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus, but not necessary.
    • Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary.

    Pay and Benefits:

    $19.00   to $25.00, depending on education and experience.
