InterMetro Industries Corporation is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist for our Corporate HQ located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The Data Analytics Specialist will possess a strong software mindset and passion for data generation. This position will require heavy use of Power BI or similar software tools. The role will provide analytics support to executive leadership to enable them to better understand, monitor, and manage the business on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong IT education and/or experience. The Data Analytics Specialist will be a key member of the Finance Team. Primary Responsibilities: Maximize use of latest software tools to provide leading edge business intelligence to all levels of the organization. Provides sales and margin analysis, including but not limited to reporting of performance to sales quotas, key products sales, margin analysis by market, and profitability by market. Trains, develops, and leads the team of finance and sales administration employees in the use of the latest software tools. Works closely with the IT department to ensure proper controls around development and implementation of software. Provides details and support and works with sales and marketing for yearly price increases. Ensure processes are in place for future data analytic improvements and goals for margin improvements are met. Leader in developing performance excellence results for the Finance department including tools for Executive Leadership working with financial information. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Work Experience: 1 - 4 years of experience A combination of education and work experience in a similar capacity will be considered.
