Air Ambulance Paramedic

We are seeking an experienced Air Ambulance Paramedic to join our team of air transportation professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support care to patients during air transportation and maintaining high safety standards for both the crew and patients. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within specified timelines
  • Conduct daily base checks, including narcotic count
  • Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care, maintaining thorough patient care documentation
  • Participate in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences to maintain competency in knowledge and skills
  • Maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of emergency equipment and supplies
  • Establish positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public
  • Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and conduct aircraft safety briefings when needed
  • Fill open or vacant shifts as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting
  • Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required
  • Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
