Orem Rehab is looking for a Physical Therapist who may come as a generalist but wants to eventually grow to be a specialist. We seek a candidate who has interest in developing their leadership skills and helping others to grow with them. We are interested in an individual who thrives in a team environment with supportive staff and building leaders. We are interested in someone to join a team who works hard to maintain stellar relationships with nursing and all other affiliated departments. We offer multiple paths for growth opportunities. Orem Rehab offers in-house therapy (not a contract company) with a long history of success. We have won the Outstanding Therapy Program award annually from . We have also won the Sunstone Therapy Award for stellar clinical performance annually in , and 2023. In 2023 we were the only building in our market to achieve this award.
At Orem Rehab, we offer short-term post-acute rehabilitation services (i.e., 1 week to a few months), long-term rehabilitative services (i.e., a month to years), and outpatient rehabilitation services. We have multiple staff in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. We also have therapy aids to assist therapists in the building. Currently we have a capacity of 93 patients. We have a large therapy gym with floor to ceiling windows. Just outside the gym is a patio area that is often used during therapy or for a quiet and comfortable place to each lunch or relax. We have sidewalks that carry you through our beautified grounds and large grassy areas under the shade of mature trees. Our Healing Garden is a center focal point of the building. It provides a peaceful option for therapy or relaxation.
We are located next to a brand-new Orem City Park with varied surfaces for all levels of challenge to gait, balance, and coordination (including 12 pickleball courts). We have multiple stores and restaurants within walking distance, or a short wheelchair push away, to further enhance community reintegration. We are 1 block South of the University Place Mall (with the soon to open, and new to Utah, Bobby Flay's Bobby's Burgers). We are also mile from In N Out Burger and multiple other restaurants within walking distance. There are multiple housing options within walking distance. Costco, gas stations, gyms, movie theaters, and grocery stores all within 2 miles. Enjoy the recreation on Utah Lake with a short 10-minute drive from our building. We have a direct unobstructed mountain view of Rock Canyon and "Y" mountain. You can watch the Stadium of Fire from our large parking lot with plenty of spaces for staff, visitors, and handicapped parking.
