Lakeport Post Acute is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments designed to improve residents' mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
  • Monitor and document residents' progress, making adjustments to treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Educate residents and their families on exercises and strategies to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and facility policies.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped therapy area.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
