TITLE: Winder Operator B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To produce a consistent quality product utilizing procedures and process related troubleshooting while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and ensuring all customer and internal quality requirements are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum six months' extrusion department experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Demonstrated proficiency as Winder Operator - C
• Good oral /written communication skills
• Computing knowledge
• Quality Control certification
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Any supplemental responsibilities as determined by Senior Winder Operator or above supervision.
• All production related duties / responsibilities of Winder Operator - C
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures / SOCs / specifications
• Assist adjoining line if necessary
• Maintain equipment notifying Senior Extrusion Technician / Lead of any maintenance issues requiring immediate attention
• Initiate timely line adjustments to correct quality issues in accordance with operating procedures and / or troubleshooting manuals in addition to notifying Senior Extrusion Technician / Lead immediately
• Overtime as required
• Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives
• Comply with company recycling policy
• Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Loud noise
