Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at St. Cloud, Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality Physical Therapy services to our residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation process, including self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination.
- Conduct individual and group treatment sessions as assigned by the Physical Therapist, focusing on ADLs, functional mobility, ROM, strength, coordination, and cognitive/perceptual remediation.
- Adapt Physical Therapy techniques and media as needed, ensuring resident care ratios are maintained.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement programs and adhere to established confidentiality standards.
- Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by the supervising therapist.
- Ability to document daily care according to established guidelines.
- Effective communication skills to respond to treatment intervention with residents, family, and team members.
