Job SummaryWill oversee all repairs and upkeep of the company's facilities and equipment.Have a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.Will have administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.The goal is to ensure that the facilities and equipment are well-cared for and adequate to support thecompany's business operations.ResponsibilitiesPrioritize the maintenance and repairs of all company equipmentCarry out inspections of all equipment to identify and resolve issuesCheck electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems of equipment to ensure functionalityPlan and oversee all repairs of equipment in the plantAllocate workload and supervise upkeep of staffMonitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessaryMonitor expenses and control the budget for maintenanceManage and coordinate all work performed by outside vendors and contractorsKeep maintenance logs and report daily activitiesEnsure all maintenance team members comply with company health and safety policiesQualificationsPhysical Demands5-7 years experience in manufacturing maintenanceMust be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematicsMust be able to use hands to touch, feel, or handle tools and/or parts.Effective interpersonal and written communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectivelyMust be able to stoop, bend, and crouch to work on equipment.Excellent organizational and prioritization skillsComputer literate.
