Ability to read, speak and write English fluently in order to follow instructions and ask questions properly

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with others

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional specialized training in nursing care preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

None required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties or task may be requested or assigned by immediate supervisor, his/her designee, or other management/supervisor.

• Obtain bedside shift report between off going and on coming sitter, report should include the following: patient name, diagnosis, reason for sitter, any barriers or special considerations, behaviors to watch for, any special instructions provided by any SMH reported, any safety devices in use, any restrictions
