Our mission is to help manufactures maintain a competitive advantage in the world economy by improving productivity. <p><strong>Summary of responsibility:</strong><p>The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for leading the payroll department's daily operations and ensuring that accurate and timely payrolls are processed for all employees in a timely and efficient manner. This person will assess workflow, team assignments, lead all aspects of payroll processing and reporting deadlines, provide customer service to internal and external customers, and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws. In addition, this position will be responsible for the oversight of HRIS, Benefit Management and Leave of Absence Management.<p><strong>What You Will Contribute:</strong><br /><ul><li>Run the day-to-day operations of the payroll department, including the processing of a multi-state, semi-monthly payroll-start to finish:</li> <li>Handle employee benefit inquiries to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous resolution.</li> <li>Work with the Finance department to resolve any benefit plan billing discrepancies</li> <li>Coordinate the processing of all long-term absences, including Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) and temporary disability leave. </li> <li>Supervise workers compensation administration</li> <li>Ensure employee data verifications inclusive of new hires/terminations are processed appropriately and timely </li> <li>Assists in year-end payroll processing (W2 Balancing, ACA entry etc.)</li> <li>Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation for areas of responsibility.</li> <li>Assist with coordination of annual open enrollment processes, including preparing, distributing, and receiving materials and forms.</li> <li>Conduct benefit orientation meetings and enroll new employees in benefit plans</li> <li>Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential</li> <li>Respond to daily user inquiries</li></ul><strong>Other Functions:</strong><br /><ul><li>Perform related duties as required.</li></ul><strong>The duties listed above are intended only as illustrative of the various types of work that may be performed.
