Payroll Specialist

Compensation: $21 per hour
Our client, an established manufacturing company in the Downers Grove, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Human Resources Generalist with a background using Paycor software to process payroll. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, as well as assisting with other HR related tasks as needed.
This part time temporary position will run approximately 3 months, and will be 25 or more hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll using Paycor software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain payroll records, including employee data, deductions
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on other tasks as needed

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with hands-on experience using Paycor software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and HR practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
