Payroll Specialist II, Field

  • General Summary:
    The Payroll Specialist - Field, processes the accurate and on-time weekly payroll for all Field employees in accordance with current Union agreements and company procedures. In addition to working on Field employee payroll specifically, this position will also collaborate with and support all Payroll Team functions.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects and proprietary information.
  • Manage the accurate and on-time collection of hours worked from Field Supervisors for all Field Union positions.
  • Enter and/or upload accurately coded hours worked for all Field Union positions into the timekeeping system each week.
  • Ensure the accuracy of time entered by Field Supervisors each week.
  • Calculate add-on rates including but not limited to Subsistence, Congestion Zone Fee, Night Shift, Hi Pay, into the timekeeping system each week.
  • Assist in the audit process for all Payroll Groups as required.
  • Research and respond to questions about time and add-ons from Field employees.
  • Prepare make-up and final checks upon request.
  • Add new hires and update employee changes in accounting software as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
