MLR.org is looking for a passionate and meticulous Clinical Pharmacist to join the exceptional healthcare team of one of our valued clients. Key Responsibilities:
Medication Management: Review and manage patient medication plans, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.
Clinical Consultations: Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on medication therapies, including dosing, side effects, and drug interactions.
Patient Education: Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient treatment plans.
Medication Reconciliation: Conduct thorough medication reviews during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to prevent errors.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
Quality Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving medication safety and patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
1 or more years of Clinical Pharmacist experience is required.
PharmD or RPh from an accredited school.
Current and valid license to practice.
Understanding of DEA and FDA health regulations.
Responsible, detail-oriented person of upstanding integrity.
Be able to handle a large workload while still working efficiently and accurately.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Personable and well-spoken with great customer service.
