The Director of Clinical Learning supports implementation and performance monitoring of system clinical learning initiatives and outcomes within a defined population health area (Boise, Mountain Home, McCall), Rehab, ambulatory clinics, interdisciplinary shared services (e.g., pharmacy, social work, therapies) and patient education.

 

What You Can Expect:

  • Lead a team robust team of leaders and clinical educators within a centralized education model, supporting system initiatives across various clinical disciplines and settings.
  • Oversee clinical learning for onboarding, orientation, preceptor preparation, ongoing competency, professional development, student clinicals, and evidence-based practice.
  • Develop deep collaborative partnerships with clinical leaders and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment with Health System needs and to achieve high quality operationalization of educational initiatives to address organizational priorities and key metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in educational initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
  • Experience: 8 years' experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License from the state of practice.
