The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.

Rate Range: $60-$65/Hr

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced ETL developer (around 10+ years) with good experience in DataStage who can work with the team in identifying the client's needs and develop pragmatic business solutions to business problems The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications. Technical Skills:

10+ years of experience in DataStage 9.x or above. Should be conversant in using various stages, sequence Activities, dynamic loading of data from different file formats and Oracle and SQL Server Should be familiar with modifying stage properties for a given requirement. Good to have proficiency in using Oracle PL/SQL features like Built In Functions, Analytical Functions, Cursors, Cursor variables, Should have hands-on Unix shell scripting Strong experience in a BI/Data Warehouse environment with involvement in design, development, implementation, Unit Testing troubleshooting and support of ETL process using Talend (Necessary) and DataStage (Preferable) Experience in defining DataStage ETL development standard and best practices Experience in cloud database e.g. snowflake Experience in developing Data Marts, Data warehousing and Operational Data Store (ODS) on any of the databases or Hadoop environments Should be having good experience with DWH concepts, and other DWH related terms Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization by Indexing, Partitioning and De-normalization Should be well versed with migration strategies by manual and automated processes Should have experience in supporting the environment team for all the migrations, and other activities Extensive knowledge of business intelligence best practices, processes, and methodologies. Good to have programming experience in writing Complex Stored Procedures, Queries, Views, User Defined Functions, Cursors and Common Table Expressions using SQL or T-SQL Excellent interpersonal, communication skills (both verbal and written), and ability to interact with and effectively address concerns Excellent prioritization, time management, analytical, and organization skills - able to determine Experience working in an Agile Environment, preferred Process Skills:

Capable of analyzing requirements and develop software as per project defined software process Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews) Work on the agile improvements by sharing experiences and knowledge with the team. Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate software (including programming languages) development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.
