What you will do: Develop and implement a global sales strategy for the education sector that aligns with Maxon’s overall business goals. Design and oversee educational programs, workshops, and certification courses that integrate Maxon’s products into academic curricula. Establish and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, including universities, colleges, schools and training centers. Build, lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global sales team focused on the education sector. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the education sector. Serve as a key advocate for Maxon’s products, demonstrating their value and benefits to educators, administrators, and students. Work closely with marketing, the trainings team, our own Cineversity, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive strategies and effective execution. Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics to track success and inform strategic decisions. What we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 7-10 years of sales and business development experience, with at least 3-5 years in the education sector or a related field. Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams. Deep understanding of the education sector, including the needs and challenges of educational institutions. Strong sales acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector. Enthusiasm for 3D animation, motion graphics, filmmaking, digital sculpting, and rendering technology. Strong communication skills in English (other language skills like German, is a plus) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools (or similar). Salary Range: OTE USD 140-200k Salaries at Maxon are based on a candidate's specific criteria including experience, skillset, education and location.
