Operations Manager

Full-time

$50,000-$60,000 Base Salary (depending on experience) with Bonus Opportunity

Ascend Autism is a provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents. 

The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing best practices and processes across the organization. The specific duties of the Operations Manager include overseeing training, scheduling, formulating strategy, improving performance, maintaining center organization and ensuring compliance. Additional tasks can include social media updates and special events.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate behavior therapist hiring, onboarding and training for the center

  • Create and maintain center schedule for behavior therapists

  • Coordinates shift coverage and schedule changes

  • Update and maintain materials and inventory to meet facility and client needs while adhering to budget

  • Prepare weekly operational reports for Center Director

  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant

  • Deliver excellent customer by creating rapport and relationships with employees, families and clients

  • Real-time updates and maintenance of CRM software, scheduling software and other systems

  • Maintain the center so it is organized, sanitized, and clean. Identify and report facilities issues that arise to coordinate outside vendors as needed.

  • Assist therapists with clients, as needed

  • Participate in interviews and make hiring recommendations for potential new employees

  • Assist HR with recruiting, when necessary.

  • Promote company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

  • Respond to client and staff inquiries / issues in a timely fashion

  • Administrative documentation, etc.

  • Any additional duties assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred concentration in Business, Operations management, or related field)

  • 3+ years experience in management, operations, and leadership.

  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Facilities management experience (preferred)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Healthcare services experience (preferred)

Work environment:

  • Moderate to loud noise level

Physical demands:

  • Opportunity for prolonged periods of standing, sitting and frequent bending

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
