Automotive Business Development Representative

Multi-brand corporate Business development that handles both phone and internet leads. This position is not a standard call center position that handles cold calls or spam emails. We handle leads that are requested via online sites from company sites, to third-party sites where customers are requesting more information about vehicles both new and used. Must have good phone etiquette, have a good knowledge of computers and customer service background. Automotive knowledge, automotive sales license, and bilingual are a plus but not required. This position is  NOT remote.

Description:

Business development center (BDC) representatives: Identify sales leads among new and existing customers, and maintain client relationships. They develop new business by scouting leads via the Internet, and phone. The ideal candidate is expected to be confident, have high energy, and be relatively independent. It requires great people to provide great service, which is why we invest so much time in recruiting and training our team. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls according to the script and schedule a sales appointment.
  • Make outbound calls
  • Log all customer comments.
  • Contact customers to schedule and confirm appointments for Sales.
  • Do follow-ups with the Sales Department
  • Schedule future contact as needed.
  • Keep customer information up to date.
  • Generate communication according to a predetermined timeline to automatically schedule follow-up reminders for the next contact.
  • Contact Customers based on current marketing initiatives.
