Responsibilities

This Float Pool ER Registered Nurse opportunity is full time, part time or per diem, offers full benefits (for full and part time)  and offers a convenient flexible schedule.  This position will be expected to be flexible and work at any of our emergency/free standing departments.

 

Northern Nevada Health System is a regional multi-facility system that has excelled at offering quality care to residents of the greater Truckee Meadows. We have many locations across the region and in our rural communities. Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care hospital in Sparks, is our flagship provider. A second hospital, Sierra Medical Center, is a 170-bed full service acute care hospital in south Reno.  It is the first full service hospital built in the region in over a century. We also have 3 free standing ED facilities, NW McCarran, Spanish Springs and Damonte Ranch that provides 24/7 emergency care in a convenient setting.  They are a full-service emergency room, and is capable of treating life-threatening injuries as well as urgent issues.

Qualifications

Current NV RN License

Two to three years current exp in the emergency department preferred OR

Two to three years critical Care Exp OR

extensive EMS background experience 

Current BLS Certification

Current ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire)

Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
