We need your expertise & years of understanding the healthcare field to give our student’s a leg up on being successful & securing employment, where they could be working beside you to save lives!<br /> <br />Your day-to-day <b> <i>responsibilities</i></b> will vary, but are not limited to:<br /> <ul>Creates and/or uploads an appropriate course syllabus for each course to the Learning Management System.</li>Keeps students informed and updated concerning course content, requirements, evaluation procedures and attendance requirements.</li>Maintains accurate and complete scholastic records, including but not limited to course messaging in the LMS, grades, census rosters and attendance records.</li>Maintains industry credentials as appropriate to the teaching area. </li>Develops, revises, and/or recommends curriculum changes which meet the objectives of the course/program and improve student learning.</li>Fully participates in, utilizes and submits when due program review information, assessment data, and course/college evaluations.</li></ul>This position is a Full-time Exempt level position, as defined by policy to mean working a minimum of 40 hours per week. The primary responsibility of an instructor is to provide the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The instructor is responsible for performing the duties in the assigned instructional modality (hybrid, online or face to face) during the day, evening, or weekend on any WSU Tech campus/off[1]campus/on-line location. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic planning, serving on various committees, recruiting, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations as needed.<br /> <br /> <b>Education: </b> <ul>Master's Degree in Nursing, <u>preferred</u>. Will consider, a Bachelors degree on an active plan of study. <ul>ADN Degree considered for PN Faculty only</li></ul></li></ul> <b>Required/Preferred Requirements:</b> <ul>Five years current nursing, nurse educator, nurse practitioner experience or experience in a related area, <u>required</u>. </li>Current, unrestricted Kansas RN license and maintains throughout employment.</li>Obtains at own expense yearly TB test and other immunizations or physical examinations as <u>required</u> by clinical sites.
