About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Columbia St. Marys Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our Med Surg department, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing and coordinating patient care plans, monitoring patient condition, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing required.
